Hair loss can reach far beyond the hair itself. For some transgender women, a thinning crown or baldness across the top can make the mirror feel unfamiliar and affect how feminine, confident and at ease you feel. You deserve care that honours the woman you are and takes your wishes seriously. In my private Kingswood studio, I offer one-to-one consultations to explore options, from extensions and styling to wigs, toppers and bespoke hair replacement. If wigs or toppers have not felt like you, we can also discuss Her Majesty—a custom system designed around your scalp, hair and desired result. I will explain what each option can and cannot do, including fitting, maintenance and timescales, so you can choose with confidence.

Hair replacement
For transgender women with thinning or baldness across the crown, including hair loss commonly described as male-pattern or female-pattern, Her Majesty is a bespoke, non-surgical hair-replacement system. Its skin-like base is designed to mimic the scalp across the whole system, with realistic partings and, where the design allows, versatile styling. Unlike extensions, which add length or fullness to existing hair, Her Majesty is designed to provide coverage. Unlike a typical wig or topper, it is custom-made around your scalp, hair and desired result, then secured by the method chosen for your needs. The current estimated making time is 16–18 weeks; at consultation we can discuss timing and suitable coverage options in the meantime.
